Kallidon Fell was orphaned at a young age, his parents having died in military service and so he was raised within the Schola Progenium of San Leor.
A physically able student equally skilled in bolter and blade, he would have been destined to join the ranks of the Tempestus Scions, had he not come to the attention of Inquisitor Salvator Moncada due to his equally keen mind and fervent belief in the Imperial Creed. Moncada recruited him to his retinue and Fell quickly rose from humble Acolyte to the rank of Interrogator and then finally Inquisitor of Ordo Hereticus.
Fell has garnered a reputation as a ruthless scourge of heresy in all of its forms, eschewing the internal political in-fighting of the Inquisition and working staunchly alongside the other Imperial bodies such as the Arbites, Sororitas and Navy when call upon – as befits any staunch adherent of the Amalathian philosophy.
Decades of such punishing work has taken its physical toll of disfiguring and maiming injuries – consequently, Fell has undergone significant rejuvenant treatment and cybernetic reconstruction such that he can no longer survive outside of his powered armour life support system.
The Chapel has become something of an obsession for Fell. He gained his Inquisitorial rank in recognition of his efforts in prosecuting a bloody purge of the Psyren Witch Cults of the Orphic Catacombs. However, his master Inquisitor Moncada perished on The Chapel in pursuit of the Cognitate Arch-Heretic Bathus Ghore, whom has continued to elude Fell for over a decade.
Now Fell’s star Interrogator, Xanthia Aenid has disappeared while investigating a possible sighting of Ghore on The Chapel. While Fell’s wrath normally burns cold, steady and true, his hatred of Ghore knows no bounds – it is yet to be determined what price he might be willing to pay in order to achieve his long hoped for vengeance.
