I wanted to do a classic corrupted looking henchman for my Inq28 warband: a large degenerate looking mutant wielding a big gun in the laconic, but brutally effective and loyal mould – Big Udo.
Udo doesn’t have a complex backstory – he will simply be a big dumb mook minion for my warband’s leader which will probably be a Radical/Tainted Inquisitor or a full blown Heretic Warp Dabbling Cultist. The name is a meta-gaming homage – a few years ago, I was player in a longstanding Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign set in Middenheim which featured a ‘frenemy’ NPC Crimelord which used a large strongman enforcer by the name of Big Udo 🙂

That Lord of Plague model is so great, I never get tired of seen what people can do with that model. Big Udo is great.
It is such a great base model for conversions – most warbands need at least one 🙂
