Deadzone Contagion Survivor Campaign Scenario 2 – We Can’t Stay Here

Continuing to have fun with the Plague Zombie ‘Artificial Stupidity’ rules for solo play. The Rebs did exceptionally well in this scenario with the Teraton, Grogan and Yndij all proving to be highly effective for different reasons. This seemed much easier that the first scenario, but the terrain was much more open – which is a bit of a double edged sword as this means it us easier to shoot the zombies, but they have clearer LOS to respond to movement.

The Teraton does well because it is the only decent close combat potential Reb, but also teleportation means you have great potential to misdirect zombies which becomes crucial in the late stages of the game. The Grogan was a sold survivor from the first game and so had a 4+ shoot stat from his experience boost. The Yndij is already quick moving, but also picked up the Spotter special ability after the first scenario and so this really combo’d well with the Grogan being able to provide covering file to him while he dodged through the Zombie hoard in order to make a dash for the objectives.

The humans faired typically badly, but only one died in this game so at least enough survived to pick up some experience after this game.
